Fictionwise sold for $15.7 million

Barnes & Noble, the world’s largest bookseller, has announced that it has aquired Fictionwise for $15.7 million. The industry is noticeable becoming more geared towards an e-book future.

Barnes & Noble said it plans to use Fictionwise as part of its overall digital strategy, which includes the launch of an e-Bookstore later this year.
