When will ‘cupcake books’ stop?

Ive been reading articles cookery and today came across this interesting website, which explains why cupcake books should be stopped, as there is only so many styles, in which one can bake the dessert.

Cupcakes have long outlived their so-called 15 minutes of fame. Bakeries specializing in the handheld treats continue to open, writers continue to debate which ones are the best, and cupcake books are being published at a rate that would suggest a saturation point has been reached… or has it?
