Unemployed? Become a writer

Unemployment directly links to bad memories and experiences. However one group of unemployed people used their time not working, wisely. I found an article in the New York Times, where this group, show that there is light at the end of the tunnel by creating a short movie, that someone had written.

Ms. Major had always wanted to write a film, and had always wanted Mr. Koll, who has some experience as a freelance videographer, to direct it. But it was not until she was seriously unemployed that she had the creative space to write the script, and the nerve to make it happen. “I would not have done this unless I’d lost everything,” she said.

This article should be an inspiration to anyone who has lost their jobs. I believe a large number of people may be in the same situation, where their job is unstable due to the recession. However there is a silver lining and writing could be it.
